Soggy

Wow!

We had a really rainy day yesterday enough so that this: http://www.sptimes.com/2006/02/03/Southpinellas/Roof_collapses_at_sto.shtml happened. I drove my usual 50 mile commute with the top off my Jeep. I drove south on I-75 toward the Skyway bridge to get over to downtown St. Pete, I knew I was going to eventually get rained on, but it wasn't looking too bad. As soon as I got to the Skyway bridge exit, the sky was PURPLE. I knew that my luck had run out and I was going to get soaked. Oh well I should have put the top back on, right? Oddly enough I didn't get rained on, but as soon as I got into my building at work, the bottom dropped out. Thankfullly I have covered parking. Downtown didn't get it as bad as the rest of Pinellas county, but it did rain QUITE heavily. It flooded where my husband is working, so he got to leave early. Lucky him.... lucky me too, since I didn't get drenched on my way into work.

I've gotten yet another vice, like drinking alcohol wasn't enough... and over eating. NOW I like coffee OTHER than the iced coffee at starbucks. I drank 2 cups of folgers at work yesterday black. And a cup at the house this morning, again black. Needless to say ALL of my house work is done for the weekend. So I guess my "vice" has an up side, right?

Boy, as much as I love coffee...my house never gets done! LOL
We had thunder from hell all last night...and suppose to have tons of rain today and nada. Weird weather.
